About Me

Hey, I'm Katie. I'm a college student studying Communication Studies and Writing in the Media. I'm the copy editor for my college's newspaper, and I also run cross country and track and field.

Whether I'm running, writing/editing articles, or working on class work, I'm also dealing with my most strenuous, long-lasting task: recovering from my eating disorder. Recovery is a 24/7 battle that with time, resources, support and dedication gets easier.

I can run a 10k faster than the average person, I've made the Dean's List every semester of my college career and I've built a new family of friends here in Minneapolis, but my biggest accomplishment has been being able to tame my eating disorder and take back my life.
